This study aims to examine how digital entrepreneurial education (DEE), intention, capacity and generative artificial intelligence (AI) adaptation interact through the lens of cognitive flexibility theory (CFT) and necessity entrepreneurship in a resource-constrained nation.
The study employs a quantitative methodology to collect data from business graduates of an underdeveloped nation. The study adopts a cross-sectional survey methodology.
The study found the positive influence of DEE on the digital entrepreneurial capacity (DEC) and the effect of DEC on digital entrepreneurial intention (DEI). The study explores that DEC significantly mediates the relationship between DEE and DEI. The result demonstrates that generative AI moderates the relationship between DEC and DEI.
By integrating theoretical insights from CFT with empirical evidence from a resource-constrained and an underdeveloped nation, the study contributes to the context and literature on digital entrepreneurship.
