Briefing: Public–private finance models – infrastructure procurement

Developing new sustainable models and sources of funding and financing for infrastructure is crucial, along with removing the blocks and challenges to delivering finance. This is the focus of the Association for Consultancy and Engineering investment into infrastructure series that has reviewed 15 years of private finance initiative data, set out means of replacing private finance initiative with new public–private finance models and proposed a range of measures to improve government procurement of infrastructure projects.
