Mohammad R. Khosravi (m.r.khosravi.taut@gmail.com) is based at the Shiraz University of Technology, Shiraz, Iran. He is currently an Academic/Industrial Researcher (Research Engineer) in the fields of Statistical Signal Processing and Computational Scientometrics. He is serving as a Senior Researcher for SAR Technology at the Telecommunications Group, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Shiraz University of Technology, Shiraz, Iran, and also a Research Associate for Multimedia and Networking at the Department of Computer Engineering, Persian Gulf University, Bushehr, Iran. He has been an Instructor of Electrical Engineering at Campus branch of Persian Gulf University, Bushehr, Iran (2014-2015), and a Visiting Scholar at the Department of Communications and Electronic Engineering, Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran (2015-2016). He has served/is serving as an International Committee Member of the conferences of IEEE-ICCC 2017, IEEE-ICCC 2018 and SPIE-IWPR 2018. In addition, he is currently serving as a Managing Guest Editor of the special sections for Current Medical Imaging Reviews (CMIR), Current Signal Transduction Therapy (CSTT) and International Journal of Sensors, Wireless Communications and Control (IJSWCC). He is a Board Member of the CMIR journal and Journal of Geographic Information System (JGIS). His main interests include Statistical Signal and Image Processing, Medical Bioinformatics, Radar Imaging and Satellite Remote Sensing, Computer Communications, Wireless Sensor Networks, Underwater Acoustic Communications, Information Science, Scientometrics, Digital Library Management, Internet Research, Informatics of Scientific Databases, Open Access Publishing Platforms, Predatory and Hijacked Journals and Citation Analysis (e.g., Self-Citation and Citation Indicators).
