The purpose of this paper is to develop a framework that integrates AI tools with leadership theories to create personalized and adaptive leadership development programs (LDP), addressing the challenges and opportunities in leadership training.
Artificial intelligence (AI) refers to the use of machine learning, natural language processing and data-driven analytics to enhance decision-making and leadership development. This study adopts a conceptual review approach, synthesizing existing leadership theories and AI applications to construct the AI-LDP framework. Additionally, case study analyses of AI-driven leadership programs, such as those implemented by IBM and Google, provide practical insights into how AI enhances leadership training.
The AI–LDP framework enhances personalized learning, adaptability and real-time feedback in leadership development. It highlights both the positive impacts of AI on leadership effectiveness and the challenges, such as ethical concerns and data privacy.
This study is based on a conceptual review, and the AI-LDP framework has not been empirically tested. Further research is needed to validate the framework in diverse organizational settings and industries.
Organizations can use the AI–LDP framework to design more personalized and adaptive leadership development programs, improving leadership effectiveness and employee engagement through AI-driven tools.
By integrating AI into leadership development, organizations can promote more inclusive and transparent decision-making, potentially fostering a more ethical and equitable workplace culture.
This research offers a novel AI-based framework for leadership development, combining AI technology with classical leadership theories. It provides valuable insights for organizations looking to improve leadership development in dynamic environments.
