John Myers, formerly the European business development manager at Tessera(San Jose, CA, USA), has been named key account director at CS2, the Brussels-based array assembly and test foundry.

Mr Myers' responsibilities at Tessera included licensing and supporting advanced chip-scale packaging technologies utilized by European semiconductor manufacturers.

Before joining Tessera, Mr Myers worked for Indium Corporation as a regional manager where he was responsible for sales and marketing of materials to the electronics assembly industry in Central and East Europe. Prior to this he held the post of international sales manager at Orthodyne Electronics, a manufacturer of wire bonders.

John Myers completed a BSc in Electrical Engineering at Washington University in St Louis before completing an MBA at the University of Dallas.
