Electronic Packaging in Japan

We hear much about the Japanese and their dominant position in electronics. Attention is focused on their superior production techniques, automation, high reliability and low prices. This report covers a seminar which was the culmination of a DTI sponsored study mission to Japan in November 1987 to assess the status of electronic packaging technology there.
