Brewin joins The National Physical Laboratory

NPL is delighted to announce that Alan Brewin joins them from Concoat Ltd. After study at Norwich and Massachusetts, focused on Physical Chemistry, Alan graduated and joined the Concoat team in Camberley, Surrey, first as Chemist and more recently Chief Chemist.

Over the last five years he has built up a considerable reputation within the industry through his customer support work, committee work at IPC and NPL IAG meetings, SIR testing developments and through conference presentations. Alan was also involved in product development, including conformal coatings and PCA cleaning media.

Alan will join NPL as Higher Research Scientist in the Microelectronics section that is headed up by Dr Chris Hunt, and with his background in chemistry will bring another dimension to a department already rich in expertise.
