Ferro Electronic Materials names Hodder North American Sales Manager, East Region

Ferro Electronic Material announced the appointment of Robert S. Hodder Jr as North American Sales Manager, East Region.

In this position, Hodder will be responsible for sales of the full range of advanced electronic materials available from Ferro to the Component,Microelectronic Packaging, Hybrid Electronic and Photovoltaic Industry in the eastern third of the North American continent. Hodder will also assume responsibility for Customer Service for Ferro's New York facilities located in Penn Yan and Niagara Falls and will administer the activities of Ferro's field representatives in this territory.

Hodder joined Ferro in 1993, and has worked in a variety of technical service and marketing capacities, most recently as Product Manager for Formulated Dielectrics. His service with Ferro has been recognized with internal awards on several occasions including the presentation of Ferro's highest honour, the 2000 Weaver award.

Prior to joining Ferro, Hodder held senior engineering positions with Center Engineering, State College, PA, and Tusonix Inc., Tucson, AZ. A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, with a degree in Ceramic Science and Engineering,Hodder is a member of the American Ceramic Society, the National Institute of Ceramic Engineers and IMAPS. He lives in Farmington, New York with his wife and two children.
