New Head of Electronics and IT appointed

Professor Brett Wilson has been appointed as Head of the Electronics and IT division of the School of Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University. He joins Sheffield Hallam from UMIST, Manchester, where he spent 18 years, culminating as Reader in Communications and Electronics. He has also held Visiting Chairs at a number of universities abroad.
Professor Wilson has a broad research and teaching experience. His research interests include; wide-band electronic circuits and systems, current-mode electronic circuits, optical communications, and modulation techniques.
He will also head the Electronics Research Group.
