Community Nutrition Group Conference
5 April-7 April 2004, Swanwick Conference Centre, Derbyshire
The three-day conference of the Community Nutrition Group (CNG) was attended by members of the British Dietetic Association. It included presentations on:
Asian Community Project – Carys Marke, Community Dietitian and Seroj Shah, Health Visitor, Lambeth PCT.
Food portions and choices in young children – Dr Kath Hart, Surrey University.
Ready Steady Lunchbox – Joanne Micklam, Community Dietitian,Peterborough PCP.
Allergy and Children – Justine Sharp, Chief Dietitian, Brent.
There was also a small trade stand exhibition plus numerous opportunities for sharing good practice in workshops plus net-working.
