It is now eighteen months since the Paintmakers Association formally launched its distance learning scheme of study — Open Tech in Surface Coatings Technology — with the active support of the Manpower Services Commission. The PA informs us that right from the beginning it attracted great interest among member companies of the PA and can be regarded as one of the most significant projects it has undertaken.
