Maureen Andrade is a professor in the Organizational Leadership Department at Utah Valley University. She is a former ESL program director, U.S. State Department English Language Specialist, and Fulbright Specialist. She holds the distinction of Principal Fellow from the Higher Education Academy in the UK for leadership in teaching and learning. Dr. Andrade is a former associate vice president, associate dean, department chair, director, journal editor and associate editor, and is currently serving as assistant department chair. Her research interests include flexible learning, international student transitions and linguistic development, leadership, and organizational change. She has published extensively in academic journals and is a regular conference presenter.

Jason D. Bader is a Professor of Art + Design and department chair at Mount San Jacinto College. He has been teaching visual design courses via practice-based learning for over twenty years—fourteen of which have had online components—and is a practicing graphic designer. Currently, his academic focuses are on visual design systems, user experience design, and design thinking.

Emma El-Shami earned her DNP from the University of South Carolina, MSN from University of West Georgia and a BSN from the University of North Georgia. Dr. El-Shami hasserved as a nurse in the Operating Room, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit, and Urology Clinic. In her nursing career, she has served as a member of three research teams focused on bladder cancer studies, completed multiple advanced certifications, and have become a member of multiple nursing organizations. She has previously taught in an Accelerated BSN program and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University in the BSN program. Her research interests include patient satisfaction and simulation in nursing education.

Joseph M. Furner is a Professor of Mathematics Education at Florida Atlantic University in Jupiter, Florida. He is originally from Sauquoit, New York where he went to elementary, junior high, and high school. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Math Education from the State University of New York at Oneonta and his Masters and Ph.D. in Math Education from the University of Alabama. His scholarly research interests are related to math anxiety, the implementation of the new national and state standards, English language issues as they relate to math instruction, the use of technology in mathematics instruction, math manipulatives, family math, and using children's literature in the teaching of mathematics. He is the author of 100+ peer-reviewed papers and cited on Google Scholar over 2,600+ times. Dr. Furner has worked as an educator in New York,Florida, Massachusetts, Alabama, Mexico, and Colombia. He has now branched out into more mainstream writing with Living Well: Caring Enough to Do What's Right and his new book, A Light for Others: An Instrument of Peace will be coming out soon. He is concerned with peace on earth and humans doing more to unite, live in Spirit, and to care for our Mother Earth and each other. Dr. Furner feels that we all have the opportunity to be lights for others and instruments of peace each day we live. Dr. Furner currently calls in Florida where he lives with his family. He enjoys his family and friends, job, civic and church involvement, his beach, and little town by the sea.

Norm Friesen is a Professor of Educational Technology at Boise State University. He specializes in qualitative research methods, and the history and critical theory of technology. He has published 9 books (3 solo-authored monographs) and over 100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. His work has been translated into German, Chinese and Spanish.

Yu-Chang Hsu is a Professor of Educational Technology at Boise State University. He teaches graduate courses on mobile app design, maker+STEAM+computing education, and technology integration. His research interests include learning and instruction innovation through emerging technologies, collaborative learning, computational thinking, and generative artificial intelligence in education.

Patrick R. Lowenthal is a Professor of Educational Technology at Boise State University. He specializes in designing and developing online learning environments. His research focuses on how people communicate using emerging technologies—with a specific focus on issues of presence, identity, and community—in online learning environments.

Kate Peila is a National EdTech Specialist for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. She focuses on technology integration and K-12 ELA instruction in school districts across the United States.

Kerry Rice is a Professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University. Her research focuses on best practices in K-12 online and blended education and includes policy analysis, Delphi and mixed methods studies, and large-scale program evaluations using both traditional and emerging methods in machine learning. She is the author of Making the Move to K-12 Online Teaching: Research-Based Strategies and Practices (2nd Edition, 2020).

Sonique Sailsman earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing Education from Nova Southeastern University, Master of Science in Nursing from Drexel University and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Miami. Dr. Sailsman's research interests include exploration of the social determinants of health and the impact on minority adolescents, as well as the development and implementation of creative teaching strategies for nurse educators. Her clinical experience is in pediatric critical care. She is currently an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society and National League for Nursing Social Determinants of Health and Social Change Leadership Academy.

Chareen Snelson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University with over 20 years of experience in online education. Her scholarly activity emphasizes scoping reviews in educational technology, video in online education, and teaching qualitative research methods courses online.

Jesús Trespalacios is an associate professor in the Department of Educational Technology at Boise State University. His research focuses on instructional design education, teacher education, and mentoring online doctoral students. He teaches undergraduate courses in eLearning design and graduate courses in instructional design and research design.
