A familiar old friend, in a new outfit! Acair Ltd is a bilingual publishing company set up by the Highlands and Islands Development Board, An Comunn Gaidhealach, and Comhairle nan Eilean to produce mainly books in Scottish Gaelic for children and adults. It has teamed up with Mercat Press of Edinburgh to reprint Malcolm MacLennan’s justly esteemed dictionary of Scotland’s Celtic mother tongue.
