A Renaissance in Scottish art and culture has included a revival of interest in Celtic art, the main application of which is the decorated letter. In his latest book on Celtic design, Aidan Meehan has used his extensive knowledge of Celtic illuminated letters and style to create a set of 16 highly ornamental alphabets. The book is intended to be used as a reference source for the modern day artist, calligrapher and designer.
