With one exception (its price) I am going to conclude that this is a well thought‐out, comprehensive and useful little dictionary. If that sounds like a prelude to negative comment, I have also to observe that it comes into a highly competitive and crowded market. This review is being written the day after the print issue of Reference Reviews arrived carrying my review (RR 2004/182) of The Oxford Dictionary of Classical Myth and Religion (Price and Kearns, 2003).
