Area Bibliography of China

Over 4,150 unannotated entries, mostly referring to recently published books and other printed material, are listed in this latest volume of the Area Bibliographies series.

Arranged under subdivided (where necessary), cross‐referenced Library of Congress subject headings, commonly adopted by US academic libraries, they are not restricted to the People’s Republic of China but also cover the colonial enclaves of Macao (and at the time of compilation) Hong Kong, to Taiwan, the island stronghold of Nationalist China, and to overseas Chinese, which together make up “Greater China”.
