We have commented before that by their very nature minidictionaries are really too small for library use, mainly due to their obvious transportability, except perhaps for the smallest collections where an eye can be kept on them and their very cheapness recommends them.

A pity, as this title in particular has much to commend it even beyond its ridiculously low price. Once again we have to admire these little volumes as classic examples of multum in parvo, in this case with more than 100,000 words, phrases, and translations covering contemporary Irish with usage notes, pronunciation guide and grammar section;...
