Netherlandish Art in the Rijksmuseum: 1400‐1600

The highlight of my only visit to Amsterdam – as for innumerable other visitors – was a day spent in the Rijksmuseum. If I was constantly recalling all the Netherlandish art I have seen in other galleries, that in no way diminished what is to be seen in Amsterdam itself. As either surrogate or reminder of a visit (or both) all is brought together in this excellent and most attractive book.
