One of the increasingly common features of sites like this one is that they are difficult to slot into our traditional way of regarding resources. This site is both a reference resource giving useful information to librarians and a learning resource offering a whole range of resources suitable for teacher and learner. Moreover, the site is challenging in that it does not fit neatly into accepted boundaries. I suspect, however, that the prime motive of this site is educational and that the value in terms of a reference tool is secondary.
