Latin American Women Writers (LAWW)

The goal of this truly ambitious project is to provide information on the feminist struggles in Spanish America and Brazil in order to better understand women's fictional works. Another goal is the help teachers and students see the differences and similarities in the various cultures represented in the database. Their focus on the feminist/genre side is due to the fact that the topic is understudied and somewhat unknown to most people in the region.
