The African‐American Women in Iowa Digital Collection, 1924‐1970 is a unique compilation chronicling the experiences of African‐American Women at the University of Iowa and throughout the state. Currently there are 263 items digitized, including newspaper clippings, letters, oral histories, photographs and pamphlets. 158 of the items digitized are representative of the sub‐collection, African‐American Women at the University of Iowa, 1910‐1970. Both collections are a part of the Iowa Women's Archives Digital Collections.
