A Dictionary of Biology (7th edition)

The Oxford University Press A Dictionary of Biology is now in its seventh edition. Earlier editions were titled the Concise Science Dictionary and A Dictionary of Science and were familiar works in most university and school libraries. Companion volumes now exist for the subjects of chemistry (RR 2009/076) and physics (RR 2010/123). With over 5,500 entries, 250 of which are new to this edition, the dictionary is a comprehensive resource while still being of manageable size for quick and frequent use.
