A comprehensive introductory guide to design re-use and intellectual property is now available to UK companies that participate in the DTI's recently-launched "Electronics design" programme.
The Introduction to Design Re-use and Intellectual Property" provides an overview of IP in electronic design and the opportunities for design re-use, focusing on the associated business implications. It has been written for the benefit of directors and senior managers of electronics companies who may not necessarily be expert in the subject.
DTI's "Electronics design"programme aims to help UK firms understand and introduce low-cost design tools and techniques intended to help get the right products to market at the right price and at the right time. The initiative offers management briefing seminars as well as a network of local support centres where companies can access free and independent consultancy, "hands-on" project design support, training and signposts to UK and European sources of government funding.
Details of the guide and further information on management seminar dates and venues and support centre locations and activities can be obtained by telephoning the DTI Hotline on 0171 215 1909 or visiting www.e-design.org.uk
