Quad Systems finalizes distribution agreement with Mirae Corporation

Quad Systems Corporation has announced that it has finalized a distribution agreement with Mirae Corporation, a leading high-technology company based in Korea. The distribution agreement names Quad as Mirae's exclusive private label distributor of Mirae SMT placement systems throughout North and South America and Europe.
"Our relationship with Mirae positions Quad to expand its served market in the medium to high-speed SMT market", said Ted Shoneck, president and chief operating officer of Quad. "With the addition of Mirae's products to our existing popular SMT products, Quad will now offer customers a more extensive, broader range of assemblers for all of their SMT process assembly needs. The distribution agreement also calls for Mirae's product line to comply with the latest standards for placement equipment set by IPC. Our agreement with Mirae places Quad at the leading edge of the movement to facilitate true comparisons of machine speed and accuracy."
