At the SMT ES&S Hybrid 2000 691 exhibitors from 26 countries presented the full spectrum of innovative products all around System Integration in Micro Electronics. The share of foreign participation within the exhibitors increased to 42 per cent. Due to the rising demand the total exhibition space was expanded to 27,000 sqm.

Exhibition trends

Rising share of international trade visitors: 25,524 visitors from 40 countries came to see SMT/ES&S/Hybrid 2000. For the first time the East European Countries were represented above average, but also the adjoining European countries and the US. The unison tenor on the part of the exhibitors was that contracts completed directly at the exhibition occurred more often than ever before.

With 605 participants the conference put on weight significantly. Thanks to the English conference language more foreign participants could be won for conference and tutorials than in the years before.
