Peter Chan (Plate 4) has been promoted to vice president – Worldwide Sales and Marketing of Finnish-owned assembly automation and odd-form giant, PMJ Automec Corporation.

Chan is a well-known and respected figure within the electronics community and has a wealth of in-depth industry knowledge and experience. In addition to his wide commercial expertise, he also has an extensive engineering background.

Before joining PMJ in 1997, Chan was a robotics product manager for Astro Technology. This was a role that demanded extensive engineering knowledge of the mechanics used in a diverse range of assembly machinery. Prior to this he held a series of successful manufacturing engineering roles within such prestigious companies as British Aerospace and Siemens.
