Tin Up machine recycles used componentsKeywords: Recycling, Components, Printed circuit boards

Applied Microtech has just launched its first machine dedicated to the recycling of components. The Tin Up machine is designed to reduce component scrap rates during the process of reworking PCBs. Today components that are poorly mounted or mounted on defective PCBs are often discarded. Now thanks to the Tin Up machine, this can repair the damaged connections of these components, which makes them available for reuse. Applied Microtech sold its first Tin Up machine at the end of 2000 to the company Sacel, a French subcontractor responsible for repairing Nokia's mobile phones, and has had rapid success with large and small international end users and subcontractors.
