Dymax's latest solvent-free, light curing conformal coatings cure faster than previous formulations and incorporate a range of features new to light curing coatings. They provide an easy to use, cost-effective solution for PCB protection – curing in seconds to give a tough, resistant finish without compromising the performance of the assembly (see Plate 6).
The range includes heat assisted and two-part room temperature shadow curing versions. All ensure precise placement, minimum deposition and complete cure of all material.

The coatings are designed for harsh environmental conditions and offer high adhesion, abrasion resistance, excellent electrical properties and easy repairability. They are therefore ideal for applications such as solder masks,flex circuits and solder points.
984-LVUF coating offers a faster curing grade of UL and MIL Spec approved 984-LVF conformal coating. 9-20557 coating features tougher and more flexible properties with good adhesion to difficult solder masks. 9-20558 coating is designed specifically for flex circuits and is an encapsulant for sharp solder joints. 9-984B is a black, opaque coating for concealing sensitive components and circuitry.
