SENSOR Conference 2007 Call for Papers

Keywords: Conferences, Sensors

25 September 2006 will be the deadline to submit contributions for the SENSOR Conference 2007 which will take place from 22 to 24 May in parallel to the international trade fair SENSOR + TEST in Nürnberg. The conference committee which is chaired by Prof. Dr Reinhard Lerch, Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, and Prof. Dr Roland Werthschützky, Technische Universität Darmstadt, invites specialists from all over the world to present their latest research and development results in the field of sensor technology.

This year, the conference committee turns a special attention to research results and their successful implementation within industrial development projects. Key topics of the conference will be flow and flow- rate measurement,micro-acoustic sensors, data processing in the sensor, interference tolerant sensors, environmentally robust and reactionless housing of sensor elements and coupled sensor-actuator systems for mechatronics.

Focal points of application will be automotive, process technology and mechanical engineering. Developers and researchers from these industrial branches will get a survey about the latest development in sensorics for their field of activity during the conference. And, according to experience, the exchange of information with specialists from all over the world will be an important element of the three conference days as well.

Additionally, two forums will be arranged within the scope of the conference. The forum “Measuring and Testing Technology“ will consider which contributions on innovative sensorics and on measuring and testing technology may lead to greater security and reliability in components, products and systems. The forum “Microsystem Technology“ aims to provide and convey information for further development in microsystem technology for researchers, developers, manufacturers and users.
