IPC – Association Connecting Electronics Industries has awarded certification to Della Systems Inc., Ronkonkoma, NY, under IPC's Certification for Lead Free Electronics Assembly Process Capability Program.

“During our 25 years of electronic contract manufacturing, Della Systems Inc. has continuously kept pace with the electronic industries'technologies, processes and quality systems. Della Systems is extremely pleased with receiving IPC Certification for Lead Free Processes. It is one more example of our level of commitment to the evolution of our business and the dedication to delivering the highest level of quality products to our customers,”John Della Croce, President, Della Systems Inc., said.

“Achieving certification gives Della Systems the ability to demonstrate their lead free process capabilities to their existing and future customers who are making the transition to lead free products,” said John Kania, IPC Director of Assembly Industry Programs.

The IPC Certification for Lead Free Electronics Assembly Process Capability is an audit of an electronics assembly facility – whether it is an OEM or EMS facility – to determine if the facility is capable of producing product to meet the lead free requirements of the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive. The audit is not designed to ensure that a facility will produce RoHS lead free compliant products. The certification program is an excellent way for a facility to validate its lead free electronics assembly process capabilities and to impress upon its customers and suppliers its commitment to excellence.
