Eric B. Freedman is Assistant Professor of Social Studies Education at Sacred Heart University’s Farrington College of Education in Fairfield, CT. His research explores the teaching of history and the design of antiracist curriculum, and has appeared in the journals Cognition and Instruction and Harvard Educational Review.

Lauren Willigan recently completed her Master’s Degree in Elementary Education at Sacred Heart University, where she student-taught in a third-grade classroom. She studied psychological sciences as an undergraduate and has also taught at a preschool.

Randall Glading is Assistant Professor and Program Director of Educational Leadership at Sacred Heart University. His research examines and addresses the lack of diversity in public schools and the socioeconomic differences between them. He has worked for 36 years in urban and suburban schools as a teacher and administrator.

Kristin N. Rainville is Assistant Professor of Literacy at Sacred Heart University. Her research examines literacy leadership in schools with diverse populations and has appeared in The Reading Teacher, Educational Leadership, and Reading & Writing Quarterly. She is also co-author of the book Literacy Leadership in Changing Schools (2015, Teachers College Press).
