Max 10: Siting a New Location Available to Purchase

Max 10 is an exercise in decision making. Students are asked to take on the role of the owner of Bermo Enterprises, a large Midwestern company that produces, wholesales, and retails off-price clothing. In this leadership role they have to decide which location to recommend for the next Max 10 retail store. To support the decision, students are provided background information on the off-price retail market, the Max 10 chain of stores, and insights from both Ed Bernard, the owner, and Brandon Ricciardi, a tenant representative broker. The students are given four potential locations located in Ft. Wayne, Indiana.
