Burcu Uzum received her Ph.D. in Management and Organization from Sakarya University in 2017. She joined the staff at Kocaeli University in 2011 and received the title of Associate Professor in March 2021. Uzum is a researcher and teaching professor in the Distance Education Department at Kocaeli Vocational School. Her research focuses on human resources management and organizational behavior. Her most recent articles, on crab barrel syndrome-responsible leadership, was published in Frontiers in Psychology and Academia Revista Latinoamericana de Administracion. Prior to entering academic, Üzüm pursued a career in the automotive sector (1999–2005).

Osman Seray Ozkan received his Ph.D. from Turkish Aeronautical Association University in 2018, following a ten-year public service career. He subsequently gained further specialization through study at Griffith College, Dublin. Since January 2021, Ozkan has taught as Associate Professor at Bandirma Onyedi Eylul University, in the Vocational School’s Private Security and Protection Programme. He has published various articles focusing primarily on organizational behavior, with emphasis on leadership in Tourism Management Perspectives, Current Psychology, Leadership & Organization Development Journal.

Serpil Ozkurt Sivrikaya received her Ph.D. in science of education from Karadeniz Technical University in 2003. She received the title of Associate Professor in 2022. She is a researcher and teaching professor in the Chemistry and Chemical Processing Technologies Department at Kocaeli Vocational School. Her research focuses on chemistry education and environment.

Kemal Ciftyildiz graduated from Marmara University, Department of Business Administration in 2002. He completed his master’s degree and then his doctorate in the field of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at Sakarya University. In parallel with his education, he worked in the private sector in the field of human resources for approximately 12 years. Following his doctorate degree, he started his academic career as an Assistant Professor at Ağrı İbrahim Çeçen University and continues his academic career at Bandırma Onyedi Eylül University with the title of Associate Professor, which he received in 2022. He has academic studies on human resources, migration and organizational behavior.
