Nitza Schwabsky is Director of The Management of Educational Systems M.Ed. Department, also known as Educational Leadership and Administration, at Gordon College of Education, Haifa, Israel. She is Senior Lecturer and Senior Researcher. Her research interests are in the area of educational administration, and specifically, in constructs such as teachers’ and principals’ efficacy, trust, OCB and school externally developed reforms. She earned a PhD in Educational Policy and Management at the University of Oregon, USA, and a Post-Doctorate in Public Management and Policy at the University of Haifa, Israel. Recently she served as a visiting scholar at William & Mary College, VA, USA.

Ufuk Erdogan is a PhD Faculty in the Educational Administration and Leadership Department at the Firat University in Turkey and a visiting scholar at William & Mary, VA, USA. His research interests include the effects of structural and compositional school features on outcomes for students and teachers, research methodology and multilevel modeling.

Megan Tschannen-Moran is Professor of Educational Leadership at the William & Mary School of Education. Growing out of her 14 years of experience as the founder and principal of a school serving a primarily low-income and minority student population in a distressed neighborhood of Chicago, she is motivated to work at the intersection of theory and practice so that schools grow in their capacity to serve all students well. Her research explores the social psychology of schools, and especially those factors that allow for children and adults in schools to thrive. She has investigated the influence of trust, teacher self-efficacy, collective efficacy beliefs, school climate and teacher professionalism on student learning and well-being. She and her husband developed the evocative coaching model that is person-centered, no-fault and strengths-based to support the work of teachers and educational leaders.
