From transformational leadership to individual and collective teacher innovativeness: the roles of AI competence and learning agility

This research investigates how learning agility mediates the relationship between transformational leadership (TL) and innovativeness, with artificial intelligence (AI) competence serving as a moderator.

The sample consisted of 417 Turkish teachers, and structural equation modeling was used for data analysis.

AI competence moderated the relationship between TL and learning agility and the indirect effect of TL on innovativeness. AI competence enhanced TL’s influence on both individual and collective innovativeness.

This research is among the first to integrate learning agility and AI competence into the educational leadership literature to understand how school leaders promote innovation.
