This is a book for anyone who wants to become more effective in their work relationships. It is geared towards trainers and management development practitioners but much of the material covered is applicable to all sorts of situations other than those of corporate training.
The book outlines several different ways of thinking about the way in which people can present, have impact, engage, influence, motivate, facilitate creative thought, understand what is going on and generally make their mark with others.
It is simply presented and very easy to read. The author draws on a wide range of sources including some of the very successful motivational speakers on the current circuits.
There is much good sense in the book and for that reason alone, it is certainly worth flipping through, or buying even for its sound and helpful ideas. These range from putting up a welcome sheet to greet delegates as they arrive for a course to exploring Anthony Robbins Levels of Confidence.
There are several books on the market which cover similar ground to this one but it is none the less recommended as worth a look.
