New Mini-Systems program provides real-time data on similar products

The thick film division of Mini-Systems, Inc., which is certified to Life Failure Rate "S" for MIL-PRF-55342 fixed film, resistor chip performance specification, has established a new program to provide customers with real-time data on similar products (Plate 2). The MSIRP (Mini-Systems, Inc. reliability program) allows these products to be tested on a continuous basis and produces a certificate of conformance to accompany the data.

The data will be displayed in a graphical representation and plotted against military standard criteria. Samples are selected at random by inspectors in the production line and sent to quality assurance for testing. The data are also published on the Website and updated periodically.
