Contax announce new UK & Ireland partnership with ESSEMTEC

Automation specialists, Contax, have just announced a new agreement with ESSEMTEC making them UK and Ireland agents. This announcement will enhance Contax's extensive product portfolio by adding reasonably priced, fully automated solutions for reflow ovens, screen/stencil printers and component placement systems either as stand alone or complete turnkey solutions, and are manufactured at ESSEMTEC's facility in Switzerland.

Incorporating in-house mechanical engineering and software development, the equipment allows manufacturers of low to midsize production runs and prototyping to remain highly competitive whilst retaining both accuracy and quality.

From their Hampshire Offices, Contax Managing Director, Jan O'Connor, made the following comment:

We are delighted with this new arrangement. The agreement with ESSEMTEC will complement our existing range by offering entry level, fully automated, PCB assembly equipment.

Contax have already installed a component placement machine at their Hampshire base alongside other equipment for demonstration purposes.
