Western Europe since 1945: A Bibliography

Thus far, reviewing volumes in the Scarecrow Area Bibliographies series has been a mixed blessing. Some volumes in the series clearly meet all the standards of quality bibliographies, whereas others fail to meet even the minimum requirements. Joan F. Higbee’s Western Europe since 1945 has made me doubtful again about the value of the series as a whole.
