To determine the views of the head of Corporate Communications at SWISS International Airlines.

Design/methodology/approach

The article is an interview with Jürg Dinner.

Findings

Jürg Dinner was Head of Corporate Communications at Coca‐Cola Switzerland, a post he has held for the last two years. Prior to this, he spent a five‐year period as Head of Business Communications at the BMW Group.He is responsible for internal and external communications at SWISS. This includes media relations, the in‐flight magazine and staff communications. The interview covers the key challenges he has faced.

Provides insights into the thinking of a prominent member of the airline community.
