DEK Printing Machines has opened a new DEK DirEKt office in Hungary to support its expanding Central European business. The new 250m2customer equipped facility houses demonstration systems, applications and service support expertise, consumables stockholding and fast turnaround laser cut stencil manufacturing.
The new Centre of Competence was operational in April 2000. The facility is situated in the town of Gyor, just 60 kilometres from the Austro-Hungarian border and only 120 kilometres from Budapest. A team of DEK technologists will offer applications and process expertise to the company's new and established customers throughout the region.
The new operation is headed by general manager Stefan Techau. He is supported by operations manager Ferenc Csizmazia, who leads an experienced stencil team able to work closely with customers to develop high quality stencils for all applications. "Fast turnaround stencil manufacture coupled with comprehensive equipment support, services and consumables stock will allow us to deliver complete process solutions in short lead times to central European customers," says Techau.
