Wayne Eisenhauer, the newly appointed treasurer of Danvers Historical Society, was growing increasingly frustrated. He was sitting in a meeting with the Board of Trustees, an aging group of nine volunteers, who had been arguing passionately about what type of paint to use on Tapley Hall.
