Article Type: Editorial From: Journal of Product & Brand Management, Volume 18, Issue 5
One of the more important roles that the Journal of Product & Brand Management plays is to be able to present ideas that both the academician and the practitioner can both use and learn from. As Editor, I have the good fortune of being able to learn about new developments that are taking place within the scope of brand and product management. With this in mind, I feel very fortunate that we are able to work with the Academy of Marketing’s “Brand,Corporate Identity and Reputation Special Interest Group” in terms of presenting to you some of the research that was presented at their 4th annual international colloquium at Emory University’s Goizuetta Business School in Atlanta, Georgia. The colloquium addressed both the tangible and intangible aspects of branding.
In this issue you will also find our usual Pricing strategy & practice section (these articles were not part of the colloquium) and also a number of book reviews.
