Celestica completes acquisition of Motorola facilities

Celestica Inc. has completed the previously announced acquisition of manufacturing assets in Dublin, Ireland and Mt. Pleasant, Iowa from Motorola,Inc. Celestica has also entered into a strategic EMS alliance and supply arrangement with Motorola worth more than US$1 billion over a three-year period. This strategic alliance is part of an expanded business relationship between Motorola and Celestica originally announced in December 2000.
