Comic Books and Comic Strips in the United States through 2005: An International Bibliography

This text is designed, as the preface takes pains to explain, to provide bibliographic foundation for comic art scholarship. As such the work comprises in its entirety a set of some 6,752 bibliographic references to scholarly and popular works concerned with the comic book industry. However, aside from this the work contains only a two‐page introduction and brief five‐page subject headings index. It should also be noted, as the title demonstrates, that only those works produced concerning the US comic scene are included.
