Flextac BGA Rework Stencils from Intertronics are anti-static, self-adhesive solder paste stencils that provide important improvements over "traditional"metal stencils (see Plate 14).

Manufactured to the highest standards, the polymer stencils are laser-cut for absolute precision and meet the strictest requirements, resisting yawing,deforming and warping.

A thin film on the under-side of the stencil anchors it in perfect alignment on the BGA pad. This film is simply peeled off, and the stencil set in place. Because the stencil is flexible prior to setting, it fits simply on to heavily populated PCBs.

Realignment is performed by simply lifting the stencil and repositioning it,with the light grade adhesive leaving no residue on the pads.
